OEM HID kits for the '02-'04 ES can be found on Ebay once in a while (most of the time w/out the bulbs or ballasts) Salvage or junk yards are worth a look, even though those ES are hardly spotted in those yards.

about a month ago, I asked Lexus dealer for an H.I.D kit for my RX300 and they say that it cost 1357.64 for each side, it comes with HID BULBS, BALLAST, AUTO LEVELING MOTOR, THE HOUSING. They said that they wont' installed it for me, got to find some place else to do it, becuase of the wireing harness is not available and that it voids the warranty. I suppose that the price for a new HID for RX and ES isnt' very different.

Kind of scary that the Lexus dealer won't install their own products into their own car! I agree that you should look elsewhere & get something different.
