in my opinion - i dont think too many ES's of any year look good with spoilers.
no offense to those of u that have any.
as far as badging goes, i usually take mine off except for the main one. i didnt do that to the ES though.
I like the word "lexus".

I just think that with a spoiler it looks like a Lexus that's a Wannabe Camry.

I can't believe all you spoila hatahs!!!!
I agree on this particular one it was a poor choice of spoiler style. Mine and Alan's (amf1932) go extremely well with the lines of the 2002+ ES.
As for the value, if you check out the price of a used Lexus on kbb.com, the spoiler actually adds to the resale value.
The entire point of the thread was that the car on ebay was smacked in the back and if you weren't savy to the placement of the LEXUS tag, then you may never have thought to check for underlying damage.

I agree, the right kind of spoiler looks neat on the lexus...or for that matter any car. It's just that there are so many gawdy spoilers out there that people end up using for the wrong applications...heck...I've seen a supra spoiler on a 1992 corolla that stood out like an eyesore. As soon as I get my digital camera fixed up, I'll risk posting a picture of my 97 with the spoiler

Well i'd like to re-state that i didnt mean to offend anyone, but just said my personal opinion on the
spoiler issue. nevertheless, each person has their own tastes and yea some do look good if done
properly. i just dont like the risk of it being gaudy (sp?). i have my raw muscle in the garage with my 5.0 so i dont need/want a sportscar out of my lex...
