Hi,
My 92 ES key remote suddenly stoppped working (unlock/lock the door). I thought it was the battery, so I changed it using 1216 type like I usually do, but it's still not working. I rechecked the old battery, and it was reading 3.34 V (unloaded), which meant the battery was still good. Did any of you have this problem before? Do I need to reprogram the key? I didn't think my generation of ES require this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I was having the same problem when I got my Lexus this year. I thought my remote was broken What fixed my problem was that I had to press and hold down the remote button for about 3-5 sec before the doors unlock. Hope this helps
