Default 92 lexus Motor?

Hi I got a 92 es300 lexus with a blown head. I was searching and searching to find out if a 1MZFE motor will fit into my car with out any fabracation? I can not find a place that can tell me Yes or No. Please let me now ify any of you know that engine would fit. Right now it has a 3VZFE in it. And how hard would it be to do the swap my self. I have done a couple swaps on hondas but never tinkerd with Lexus/Toyotas. Any help would be very appreciative.

Thanks

You will have to fabricate new motor mounts and a wiring harness. Toyota/Lexus engine swaps are not plug and play like Hondas. If you know how to weld and machine parts and have good knowledge of Toyota electronics, you can do the swap yourself. But because of the time and cost that you would need to put into swapping a 1MZ-FE to your 3VZ-FE VCV10 chassis, doing a new wiring harness, and etc, it's not worth it. You're better off building the cast iron block v6 you have and custom fabricating a Turbo to it like mcelligott.

Good Luck!

well, hasn't the chassis stayed essentially the same? wouldn't all the motor mount points be in the same place? I wouldn't just believe that it wouldn't fit yet. When I was on the maxima forums that's what they all said about putting the vq35 into the 95-99 maxima. But then a year despite the doubters, it was done and it's was fast.

It's actually not. The 92-93 ES sits on the VCV10 chassis. the 94-96 ES sits on the MCV10 chassis. Same bodystyle, new engine, new subframe, chassis improvements and etc. Do your Toyota research and you will see. This is not a plug and play a la Honda or Nissan thing.

wouldn't VCV10 also=ES250?
and the current ES is a MCV30, so that means the last gen is MCV20?

ES250 is the VZV21. Totally different chassis. Current ES330 is MCV31 02-03 ES was MCV30. And yes MCV20 for 97-01.
