Default exclusive front lip spoiler

What you guys think about the exclusive front lip spoiler shown on l-tune. Also would it be easy to self install.

Here's a pic of the Exclusive front lip spoiler on the L-tuned site:

Not really my favorite since it appears to be just an add-on to the existing front bumper. I'd rather get a whole new customized front bumper like Auto Couture

Thumbs down

I'd be worried about the spoiler being too low to the ground when going into high driveways & over high speed bumps......I see many aftermarket items like this & many of them are badly damaged for that very reason.

I love the auto couture kit but I don't want to put that much more money in my car. I think I might get this lip spoiler just to add a little distiction to my es. Even with this lip on, I don' t think I would be hitting anything with it because my car isn't that low in the front.

Funny that you mentioned this.. I've always wondered how kitted low-riders get over speed bumps. One night I saw a Honda ricer trying to get over a neighborhood speed bump by bascially ziz-zagging across the bumps and using both lanes of the road. He was bascially sideways when at the top of the bump. It was halarious. You can bet he won't be driving thru that neighborhood again when there were speed bumps about every 100 yards.

I agree, looks pretty nice (especially if you get it molded), but needs some skirts/rear to continue that lower character line.

Hey Gato, check that DPE thread you started, there is some 'news' for you!

I myself, like the lip. If anything, you could get it and look for the Camry TRD sideskirts and rear add-ons to complete the look. I don't know if HoeBag is still selling them, but I remember he put up an ad in the Classifieds.

As for the zig-zagging on the road thing. Believe it or not, I have had to do that in the past. There are some ridiculously high speed bumps around here. Also, if a bunch of my friends are in the back, the "angle sideways" thing does help you from scraping.

Cool

It's a combination of two things, it's the 'skirt kit' that people put on, plus they lower the car a fair bit so it's a double wammy.....now don't get me wrong, I don't have any problems with these mods......but I never see an 'undamaged' one on any of these cars either......some people don't think about this before they go ahead with their mods......spend $$$$ only to have them so badly damaged they end up taking thm off again down the road.
