Default Strut Bars/Lowering Springs

I like the smooth ride of my ES300, haven test driven and taken friend of mine's cars out I've come to really like the ride.

However, I honest to god want a tigher feel to it somehow.

I want to know various people's opinions on what mods they've done to tighten their suspensions.

I've forum browsed here and there, but haven't found much in the name of substantial "worth it or not" ratings of performance mods to the car. However, no intake talk. Strictly suspension.

Oh, and sources to get these parts would be nice, links nicer, freebies the ultimate dream

edit: btw mine's a 97 ES, ought to make sure people mention the years and stuffs.

I didn't really feel that much of a difference in handling from when I lowered my car. However, I did feel better handling when I upgraded my wheels to 18".

oops forgot, if you want lowering springs... http://www.tmengineering.net/ carries Intrax springs. That's where I ordered mine from. They ship fast and service is great.

whiteline front sway bar + whiteline rear sway bar + whiteline strut bar + tein ss coilovers + some 16"s or 17"s with very sticky tires = very nice handling (for an es300)

www.l-tunedparts.com is another great source for your parts.

If you want the ride comfort of stock, but a tighter/responsive feel, you will want a set of Tokico struts and Eibach springs...specifically from the 99-02 Solara V6 MCV20 chassis. 1.6" drop is plenty. Stick with the TRD Rear Sway for the Camry Solara and don't bother with the Whiteline front sway. The car is front heavy as it is, stiffening the front sway will only cause you to have more understeer which is not what you want.

No. You have an MCV10 chassis. Gen 3 Camry V6. The Solara is MCV20.
