Hello,
My '03 (15,000 miles) steering makes a "clunk" or "pop" when slightly turning the wheel off center and then back again when the car is stopped or at very low speeds. It can be heard and also felt. Someone mentioned they had this problem and that Lexus replaced the intermediate steering shaft?
Anyone else experience this? I'm taking it to the dealer tomorrow and want to have information in case I get the, "oh that's normal"
Thanks

Hi all,
I have a 2003 LEXUS es300 and I have just reported to the dealer about this problem. It was sound clunk whenever I turn left or right. The dealer then gave me a loaner car and have my car fixed by replacing some parts along the steering that they called loose or damaged parts. It now very quite whenever I turn left or right.
Please, contact your dealer about this problem. It is still under warranty for the 2003 car.
