Hey guys I just recently purchased a set of coilovers for a 98 Camry and let me tell you it's been a nightmare ( I have a knocking noise coming from the rears??). I don't want to deter anyone, just read reviews and what not about these Coilovers cuz if they are like the d2's
And about spring rates, my spring rates are 7kg front and 5kg rear and they feel real stiff.

OK, we are not the same as D2, some parts are made at the same factory, some are not, there was an issue last year with a oil that could not withstand cold temperatures making noises, which since has been fixed. Autoline does not have a website, it is the corperate parent company of this one. If you only wish to have the one set I can send you to a dealer to complete the purchase, I can give you a list if you wish. I can try to get them to match the price I gave you earlier.

Hope that helps

im gonna pull the trigger and get the 1st set of ksport coilovers. they will be in at the end of march.

they told me they made a mistake and will not be offering the es version (still in production)but I got a sweeeet deal as a prototype deal

told them that the camry ones are fine........he said my coilover set will come with
9/5kg spring rate....they said it would be alot softer since the ES is heavier then the camry.

so, I need to know if this spring rate will be good? does it matter if I always ride slammed?

I think 5 / 3.5 kg should be good for a Lexus ( well, it depends how stiff you want your ride). Like I said earlier, my d2's are 7 / 5kg and on surface streets my car would bounce like if I had hydros. It felt a lot better on fwy driving but once I hit a dip my car would fly!!! Tein ss are 6 / 3 kg for the Solara, I would go off that.
p.s. you can always stiffen the ride with the adjustable shocks.
....just my 2 cents
