Later Model ES or Non-ES OEM Lexus Wheels on '95 ES300?
I have a WTB ad posted up in the wheel section, but I thought I'd ask for advice here as well. I'm interested in dumping my lovely dual 3 spoke wheels and putting on some wheels off of a GS, IS, or later model ES.
Anyone who's done this? Suggestions for what will work/looks good.
TIA,
-Ryan

Wow you have the original RSA Supra? Wow, I remember when that car was first featured in Motor Trend from 1993, (I still have it somewhere). RSAkimoto was one of the first tuners to hook up MKIV's and managed to get that 4spd ECT-S Auto Supra in the 0-60 4.9 range like it's Getrag 6spd brother. Wow welcome. Glad to see a legendary ground breaking car being well cared for...just like my friend Glen w/Rod Millen's original GS400 aka RMMGS4 here on CL. Wow Welcome!
As for your question, IS300 wheels will fit, but with the high positive offset, it will make the wheels sit funny in the rear. The wheel will sit inward in the body.

Thanks flipside, that's the kind of info I was looking for. Would it be safe to say that's likely the case with GS wheels too?
nitsuj, those are nice wheels.
bigsax, I'm sure those look nice, but I'm looking to stay with someone's oem wheels as I don't really care to spend much money on the ES. Don't want to dilute the "Suprafund."

Well, I threw in the towel and just ordered some 225/60 Bridgestones for my lovely factory 15" 3 spokers...
As I was able to find on short notice were some chrome '02 ES wheels and some chrome IS wheels, both for ~$400. I didn't want chrome and I didn't really care to pay $400 for it.
On another note, I'm suprised no one's clicked on the ES300 link in my sig and commented.
