check around the air box to make sure you didn't accidentally dislodge a hose or a wire that may now be the cause of your CEL.
disconnecting the battery will remove the CEL and your seat settings as well as you radio station presets.
If you do not find out what caused the CEL in the first place, don't be surprised if the CEL returns.

The ES air box can be hard to get into because of all the wiring and hoses around it. When you changed the air filter, you may have dislodged a vacuum hose or one of the other hoses going into the air box. You may have broken a wire to one of the sensors in the air box or around the air box. This could be a cause for the CEL subsequent to changing your air filter.
Another possibility is that the CEL is totally unrelated to the new air filter and just coincidental.
why don't you drive the car to the nearest Autozone or Pepboys and have them read the CEL code(s) for free. Posts the codes and we will better be able to steer you in the direction to look for the reason as to why you got the CEL in the first place.
