Default H3 Silverstars

The stock bulbs were also 55w. The difference is unbelievable, even with the 9005 Silverstar low beams. Its so white and clean, looks alot more like the HIDs on my moms LS430.

Excellent lighting mod lexbox. You're well on your way with your ES, and I'm sure there's much more to go

Just got the new emblems installed. Ebay was kind, $65 on my door. Credits to my friend for holding the old emblem.

Default Auto-RX

Against the advice of many people who are unfamiliar with Auto-RX, I purchased 2 bottles from their website. The first cleaning cycle is finished and I am proceeding with the rinse cycle. The oil looks as dirty as it normally does, the rinsing cycle will make it look really bad from what I hear. Will post more.

*Update*
1. I rode out the rinse cycle longer than suggested(2000m instead of 1500m) but the oil came out cleaner than the scrub/clean cycle. From information I have read, the rinse cycle is supposed to be dirtier than the scrub/clean cycle. I have proceeded with the second scrub/clean cycle and will post more.
2. The second clean cycle is done. No extra leakage from the car. shweet.

Default Finals mostly...Electrical and Computer Engineering is [H]ARD!

"deep breath:

GATO, my car was broken into at the end of August but Ive been so busy with school I didnt have time to mess with the insurance company about this. But now I have and its on! The intruders did not figure out the trunk pop is located on the door to get to my goodies so they tried to rip the rear backrest off from inside the car, resulting in over $1000 in damage to the backrest leather. They still did not get in the trunk. They tried to RIP the entire radio/AC cluster out of the car which obviously didnt work. They did manage to get the TV out which was only wedged in there REAL tight (Dont ask) . They destroyed the Eclipse CD player trying to yank the cluster out. The EQ was still there and in perfect order. They must have been pissed to not get much other than the TV so, they went under my hood and stole my Optima. YES! MY BATTERY! They tossed the battery clamp by the strut and closed the hood so the hood was dented up. They also stole my lugnut key from the console. The glove copartment door was down, so it appeared they were trying to pop the trunk that way. HAHA IDIOTS! All amps, speakers, etc are fine other than the missing TV, Optima, and damaged Eclipse radio. The ribbon cable got disconnected from the faceplate but I believe I can repair it. The gear jumped track on motorized faceplate too. Funny thing is, about 2am I grabbed my laptop out of the car to work on some stuff for when I transfer to Auburn. When I went to get my inhaler at 5:30am, it was already compromised.

The hood is fixed. I replaced the Optima two hours later. Lugnut locks have been changed to different style. And the new Eclipse 8445 and TV are presently on their way. The backrest leather probably will not get fixed atleast for now. Im considering building a wall for woofers or the woofer I have now. First of its kind for ES I think. Maybe I will put one in the middle and completely redesign the sides. Not sure yet. Insurance has covered everything so its going to be ok. However, I chose to spend the $1000 for the leather on presents for the holidays"

Default Drum roll please...

Please do NOT reply to this thread about my Xbox. Please do NOT PM me about this.
You can however IM or Email me based on the info in my profile as I would love to answer any questions you may have.
Simply put, its an issue of legality. CL is too cool for any "issues" related to this.

I mean come on, have you seen Dave's avatar? lol

btw The blue Xbox was just upgraded to a 320gig hard drive and the bottom Xbox has a 250gig. The black one will go in my car. 250gigs should be enough right? bwahaha

P.S. Yes those are two USB ports on the bottom right. Did I mention it runs Linux too? I did not buy it like this. I bought a retail Xbox and using available hardware and software, modified everything personally. I forgot to set the date and time before I took the pic.

*Update*
12.20.2005 - I have sold the 250gb in the black xbox and have a new 320gb on the way. shweet
12.28.2005 - 320gb is in and fully loaded with PSX roms, Xbox games, MP3's and DiVX movies.

Viper Responder brochure

Viper 791xv with Remote Start

*Update*
12.27.2005 - Be advised, the stereo shop has to custom wire a large pack of relays to interface with the stock protective measures for the ignition system to allow the remote start to work. They want $300 to wire up the alarm and remote start. Crap...
1.3.2006 - Alarm has been installed. The receiving antennae was put behing my rear view mirror to maximize the range. shweet

Default Alpine IVA-D310 is the one

Well after going after the insurance company for a while we have decided it would be best to consolidate the receiver and stand-alone LCD into one unit. I have chosen the Alpine IVA-D310 and it is in the mail. phew! It's finally over and I can get on with things. More to come...

Product Link

*Update*
12.27.2005 - Alpine has arrived and I will be installing it as soon as possible. Will post more.
12.28.2005 - The TV must be wired to the handbrake for legal purpoes. That is no good so I started poking around and discovered that you can just ground the wire. ha Not on the new generations of In-Dash LCDs. Alpine uses a three-pulse ground signal. I had to order a PAC-TR7 box that will simulate the pulse ground process so the install has been delayed until its arrival.
12.30.2005 - I finished installing the TV and I think it hits harder with the new technology out in 2005, as opposed to my late 90's model Eclipse. But, I havent had a system in my car for about four months so maybe it has created a bias.
1.2.2005 - The PAC TR-7 has arrived and has been installed. coo

Sorry to hear about your ride bro. My ES was broken into at the begining of Dec.Link about my ES being broken into I'm glad stuff is coming back together though. I just got everything fixed on mine and I made sure I upgraded that alarm. I have the exact same viper alarm you do.
