does anyone know what the heck this means
i have read that its emmissions

could it be that earlier i tried to open the air intake box
but didnt open it all the way

i got a 95 es300 and i just turned on close to when it just hit 66k miles

any ideas
what should i do

im only in collge and i cant aford to fix it if its a big problem

you have the wrong car if you can't afford to get things fixed... try to get an extended warranty!

First you should disconnect your battery from the negative terminal and leave it off for about 20 seconds. This will reset the ECU. Now if the light comes back on after a few miles or more, it could either be your EGR, O2 sensor or something else. If you removed your intake box and you unplugged your MAF, that could have triggered the fault. Reset your ECU first and see what you get.
