Default Turn Signal Woes

I have just taken delivery of my '94 ES 300 (47kmiles) and when I use either turn signal it flashes very fast. Bulbs are blinking so I don't think that is the prob. Hazards flash slowly as normal. Any ideas?

There are 2 flashers, 1 for the turn signals, and 1 for the hazard lights. So I would make sure that all the bulbs are working properly, and if they are, then I would check the turn signal flasher.
I bet the bulb(s) or sockets are at fault though. The bulb sockets sometimes build up oxidation which causes erratic operation and they may need cleaning.

Thanks,
Where is the turn signal flasher located?

Under the dashboard. Turn on your turning signal and listen to where the clicking is coming from.

I hade the same ploblem with my 96 ES and the bulb still flashed. When i took it out the glass ad seperated from the metal, so i replaced it no problems after that.

If none of the solutions above work, could it be that the previous owner put in that relay that makes the signals blink faster and sometimes at a certain "pulse-style"?

Wow, only 47k miles on a 94! Good luck with those flashers!
