Uncomfortable Seat!!!
I just took delivery of my used ES 300 '94, and it feels as if the seat is poking me in the back. The lumbar is retracted. I did notice that the leather 'band' running horizontally in the middle of the seat might be the culprit.
Anyone else having these issues w/ this year? Remedies?

It sounds like the leather driver's seat (as well as possibly the rest of the seats) could use some conditioning. These leather seats can get hard and brittle, and lose their suppleness if not cleaned and conditioned on a regular basis, especially on the older vehicles.
Try looking into Leatherique. I hear it's an excellent product, and one that's designed to bring back "life" into leather seats. It take some time and effort to work into the process, but the end result is pretty amazing. Check it out

hey there Buddy. i hope you're right about these Leatherique... just called them up and order myself both rejuvinator oil 16oz and 16 oz prestine clean(special for 45bucks included s/h).. so i hope you're right.. i guess no more steaks for the rest of the week..
