Default Real World Gas Milage for 99,00,01 ES300

I am in the market for a last generation ES300 and would really appreciate it if some ES300 owners could tell me what they are actually getting in gas milage in a real world setting. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I do know that the EPA ratings are 19/26 for city/highway but I have heard that these numbers arent as correct as you might think.

I have an '01 ES, and I've been getting an average of 23.5 mpg (80% city-to-city driving/20% hwy). This is with conventional motor oil in the ES right now. When I had synthetic a while ago, I was getting better fuel mileage by about 1 to 1.5 mpg, under same amount of driving. This proves the case that synthetic oil helps improve your fuel mileage

17.5 mpg on purely city driving on my 96 ES. it's the worst type possible though, short trips, stop and go on a 50 mph road. basically i turn out of my neighborhood, accelerate to 55, then hit a red light as soon as i hit 55. repeat ad nauseum for 4 miles until i get to my destination.

lol ! that sounds like my commute. I got you beat though. I have 3 lights between my house and work. the total distance is less than .5 of a mile. i never get out of third gear and if i do...you can imagine my mpg rating is really low. But normally its not to bad if i travel from colorado springs to denver with the 93 octane fuel i use.

25 on 90% highway + 10% city with AC mixed in 10% of the time. I use premium grade gas (93 octan) from Chevran.
