40's that's where it's at. Nice and low. How did you come to pick 18's? I was thinking of upgrading to 17's

Thumbs up lexy on chrome D's

I had 17's before and I wanted more so I went for 18's
18's are the biggest rims you can fit on the ES with a 40 series tire for an everyday driver I wouldn't go lower than a 40 series tire.

Default lexy on chrome D's

Whats up cialz the rims are 18X8 100 spoke all chrome daytons with a standard offeset, an adapter bolts to the rotor than you slide the wheel on to the adapter and put the knock off holds the rim on there you have three choices of offeset when it comes to wire wheels:reverse, standard, and b-lace
reverse are the wire wheels you see with a deep dish ,standard are the wire wheels with a small lip and b-lace or radial lace are the wire wheels with no lip at all the spokes come all the way out to the edge of lip. My tires did rub a little before in the back when I had the 18X8.5 giovannas and 235/40/18 tires but now I have the 18x8 wires and 225/40/18 tires and everythings fine, I used eibach pro kit springs that drop the car 1 inch all the way around I got them from www.tirerack.com

Default solving the rim size, Offset and tire size questions

Well 18 inch is the way to go, my car is the gold/silver one with the 7 spoke chrome rims. My tires don't rub at all with out any modifications! I used 18x8 inch wheels with a 40 offset, the tires are 225/40/R18 BFG Euro TA’s. This gives you a nice ride and crazy handling. I filled the back seat with two adults my self driving and another in the front passenger seat many times and no rubbing, the only time the inner fender touches the tires is under cornering, the body of the car shifts and only brushes past the side-wall of the tires merely wiping away the armor-all on my tires, yet leaving you gashes or rub marks AT ALL! I suspect that even this would stop if I had some stiffer lowering springs, because when I had people in the back the tires actually tucked in the wheel well and I got down and checked the clearance and although close the tires actually cleared the inner fender lips! So I’m good to go. As for lowing springs, I’m going with Intrax 1.6 front and 1.5 back drop springs for the 92-96 carmary V6. My tuner said the work because the Camary and the Windom/ES share the same chassis.
