A friend of mine tinted his 04ES to 20% in the rear and back window, 50% on his front window. He said 20% rear window tint gave him some problem with his auto dimming rear mirror. Has anyone had same problem? How about 35% in the rear will it be ok with auto dimming mirror?

I got an 03ES and I have 20% all around. I have no problems with the auto dimming mirror.

Same here HoeBag..."auto" dimmed ALL the time

The auto dimming mirrors are calibrated to dim properly with no extra window tinting on the rear window, otherwise they will not dim properly. I don't know if it's possible to recalibrate these mirrors though.

I have 35% all around and no problems. Like 50 says I didn't spend $$$$$ on my car so you can't see me!!!!!
