hey guys.. just wanted to start a new thread for all of those(including me) that don't have the "bling bling" to dress our ES .. so here's what i thought would help a lot of us, poor ES owners. here's what you do. make a list of stuff you would buy with only 350bucks(little less or over would be o.k).. let me start:

1. SilverStar high/low lamps: 30bucks (from Ebay)
2. Tint back and side windows 120bucks ( local installer)
3. sony CDX. XM ready, am/fm/cd/mp3 receiver(better than your oem(92-96)) 120bucks.
4. pair of Bazooka rear 6.9 speakers(the front component set is o.k with me) ; 90bucks..
5. a paper bag to cover your head . priceless...

total: $ 360.. anyone think they can do better??

Maybe this won't readily happen for me but you never know..

M3 trunk lip from Ebay = $100 (paint extra)
Clear corners = $75 per set
Custom grille = $25 for a spare '97-'01 grille from Ebay (+ extra $$$ for customization)
Lextech.com center console light upgrade = $150 (only available for '92-'96 ES now but I'm sure there will be growing interest for the later models)

 

Center console light upgrade? you talking about the PRND21 portion? or the climate control?

 

It's the climate control and stereo combo unit, but if we're going for the whole 9 yards, mind as well include the shifter light too

 

i just got my gauges and needles back and installed. And after putting in the new alpine cd/mps3/ipod player everything is nice and crisp and bright. But the shift indicator on the center console. I would pay for a kit that made those lights better as well.
