Gold/coach Es models
Could someone tell me what comes in a "Gold" ES package? I call it this because of the gold lettering on the insignias'.
Could anyone else follow-up with what comes in the 98 Coach model? I ordered some 1997 Car and Driver and this ad was in the magazine. Darn if I didn't see one of these cars the next day. They came with a leather bag as an extra accesory. thanks

AFAIK, the gold package only includes the gold Lexus emblems.
There is no such Coach Edition ES for the 1998 model. The only ones that exist for the Coach ES are the 1996, 1999 and 2001 model years. All Coach Edition ES (available in limited colors) consist of special Coach Edition wheels, black pearl Lexus emblems, Coach Edition badgings near the front fenders, perforated leather seating w/ Coach engraving, additional factory wood trim, and as you mentioned, Coach leather bag set.
