Replacing Upper Strut Mounts
My upper strut mounts (the caps) are pretty beat up, so i bought two new ones @ about 120 each. How hard would it be to do it myself? Tools? Time? 98 ES3. thanks in advance.

It will take around 4 hours if things go smoothly.
6 with some glitches. Of course thats not including all the time to go get the parts, tools and setups.
You need a spring compressor, torque wrench, usual set of wrenches and the regular stuff you use to jack it up, take stuff off.
It could be a royal PITA if you dont have a impact gun for the top nut.
You should get a manual or tutorial before you attempt this.
I read through it dozens of times to familiarize myself with the process.
As usual, the first one is gonna take forever, then the second one will be easy.
