New guy here. My mom has a 1997 ES 300. Shehad the sunroof motor replaced a few months ago, and now she has to press the open button 3 times for it to open all the way. The same thing happens when she closes it. I understand the halfway function is a saftey feature, but it will still only go to 3/4 way closed after that. Then she has to press and hold the button again to fully close it.

I'm very familiar with cars. I'm actually about to graduate from a Mercedes Benz training school in a month, so I should be able to grasp what y'all say. This really sounds like a "normalizing" process that we have to perform on MB's when a battery is replaced (etc.). Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. Thanks. John
