anyone else than Pheonix put acetone in their gas and have a good result???..

back then when i took my car for a road trip.. NY to Toronto.. i only had 23mpg going 72mph the whole way....

went to wal mart, and got myself this thing call "marvel mystery oil".. after using the whole can, cuz you're suppost to only put in 4 oz of the whole 12oz botton in every 10 gals of gas.... drive from upstate ny to NYC, abround 250mile trip.. going 71mph the whole way.. i got 26mpg on that.. this is what i did:
full up the gas tank press that trip button on the dash
then when i finally made it to the cheapest gas station i can find(NJ near the bridge 2.09 regular)
see he full it up and do a little math.. 184mile / 6.22 gal(i counted 7. cuz the guy didn't put more in after the pump stop)

jumping from 23 to 26.. that's somewhat of a big improvment , no?..

Wife's ES330 got 22-23 on freeway with 87 Octane gas!

That's horrible... 3mz-fe's like premium. I would use it.
Getting 28-29 on the highway will more than make up for the smaller price differance we have here (alabama)
