Default 2-Tone Door Molding fitment

I need to replace the rear passenger plastic body molding. Are the 92-96's identical? Thanks ahead.

The molding should be identical on all '92-'96 ES, but make sure the color of the cladding is an exact match to your car.

I believe the cladding that lexusk8 is referring to is the plastic painted panel at the base of each ES door.

Ahhh....Molding=Cladding. So not all of the greyish colors have aged equally. Check.

My molding or cladding has separated from the front passenger door (1996 ES 300) for a short distance on the back edge. I can see one clip, which I guess is broken, and can see what I guess is a double-sided foam or rubber adhesive. (The parts diagram that I got from the dealer's parts department does not show the adhesive strip, but only clips that I guess fit into a channel and then hold the molding) What steps do I need to do to separate the molding, replace the clips, and then re-adher it to the door? Is there a diagram or description somewhere? I might be able to get a picture, if that would help.

Thanks for the help.

i thought there was only clips. its likely the molding may have been loose before and that adhesive was just added support. anyway, un-clip the bottom first
