Default Denso Iridiums?

These are what I have always run in my Hondas, they are about $50 a set....even though I do not plan to modify my ES whatsoever, are these alright to run in the 1MZ?

I bought 6 NGK Iridiums for around $40 total on ebay.

I sure hope there wont be a war regarding spark plugs.

Make sure you get the SK20 OEM Denso Iridiums for your car from your local Toyota or Lexus parts counter. Not the Denso Iridium Hi Power IK20 which don't last as long.

SK20 Iridium plugs are standard on 2002 models and up 1MZ & 3MZ-FE models.

Thanks...

I am in Jackson, it is actually a 732 area code, the 908 is my cell.

Is that part # for the 96 1MZ? or are they all the same?

I want to get plugs wires from the dealer as well, the set should include 3 wires and then 3 of those sort of connector boots for the front 3 , right? Any part #'s? TIA, everyone here on this site is helpful!

Denso Iridiums rock Expensive, but apparently "un-foulable"

You guys really dont NEED iridiums -- save some money and buy some normal platinum ones.

The part number is all the same across the board for 1MZ-FE V6's.The Genuine Toyota coilpack plug wires are fine. Or you can invest in Magnacor (Red) plugwires (comes in a set of 3 only) since the 96 only and newer 97-01 1MZ-FE's that use only 3 direct ignition coilpacks and the rear banks piggy back off the front bank. 94-95 only utilize individual coil packs for each plug and the 02-up are the same way.

Here's a old pic of the Magnacor's on my friend's Solara:
