From the TSB... "Improved response rate during heavy acceleration from a stop." However, based on how the previous ECU updates have been, I would have to agree with you in that I don't think this will fix the hesitation problem either.

I reposted the TSB that you provided in another forum that discusses Toyota's transmission problems, and people there just exploded. Many have tried to locate that TSB on official web sites, but no one could find it and some people even said that Lexus denied this TSB exists at all. So now some people question the authenticity of that TSB.

Can you tell me where you got this TSB from? I would help many people to figure this mess out.

I think that pinned thread should be renamed, because the revision to the TSB applies to 2004 and 2005 models.
