tire noise on braking wet roads?
my wifes 2003 lexus es has a strange noise on braking from high speeds 70 mph twhen roads are wet. Can't really describe it , simliatr to niose when you go over warniing strip on break down lane on some roads, Onl does it when roads are wet. Tire are Bridgestone re 92 , standard equipment on 2003 es. Might possibly be on certain roads, This is the second long trip we have taken with car and sewcond tie iu've noticed it. Car has onl 4300 miles.

That noise sounds like the ABS kicking in. If you brake the car lightly does this noise still happen? If not, then the ABS is activating to prevent wheel lockup and skidding.

I do not think she is braking very hard
my car has abs and doe not seem to react the same way,. my car is not a lexus. You might be right though. Will check with dealer to make sure. than ks for iinput.
