Default i'm an idiot....

can't believe this could be happening.. was changing my spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor... the front 3 was easy, the back 3 is another story, changed the back two(middle, and passenger), the one on the driver side was a son of a Biatch!!!.. i was trying to take the wire off by hand, but it was soo stuck on there i was pulling and pulling. then the wire came off. with the hard plastic that's connected to the spark plug still stuck on .. i thought a pair of plyers would do the job, but after an hour and a half . can't pull it out. . with soo little space to work with. i finally gave up.. so now i'll have to take off the head cylinder enorder to get it out.. anybody with a kind heart care to give this idiot some advice or a alternative??

1. if i am to remove the head cylinder.. could i still use the old gasket?? cuz new gasket would be 50bucks...

2. is there anything i can put on the spark plug wires to prevent it from being so stuck to the spark plugs??

Bummer. Thats rough. I guess any lubricant is useless if it's already wedged in that tight. Just remember to use some of that anti-seize stuff when you thread in the new plugs. I guess I really have no constructive advice on how to get through this one. Lexusk8 ?

Sorry, cylinder head gaskets are a one shot deal.......they have to be changed after removing the head.

It's always a good idea to put in a new gasket because the chance of leakage is far greater when using the old gasket. This holds true in all area's that use gaskets for sealing.

Can you get a hold of a spark plug wire puller. They should have one at the local parts store.

Will the piece spin? If it does, maybe it will loosen it up a bit.

There has got to be easier way than taking everything off.

spark plug puller, do you mean this thing right here??? i didn't use that to pull the front 3 plugs. but i used a pair of plyers and it broke the rubber cover... thanks for the advice for future tune-ups... but as for now. i can't use that. as you know i have so little space to work with. and the wire broke off from the hard plastic that connects to the spark plug. but i'll try to turn it and see if it'll lossing up.. . anyone else wanna give this a try???

Can you bend the metal enough to get it to work?

nope.. not even.. because the gap between the boot of the plug and the hole are too tight. even if i bend it. i can't get the hook to the button of the boot.... i'm towing it to a pro and hope it can be fix wihtout removing the Cylinder head.... hope no one would ever have to face what i did..
