how much did the component set and amp run?

you mean the mids-highs and amp? the front seperates were(inc.tweets)$199 the rears mids were $99 and the small alpine amp to run mids and highs was $199

the subs ....I've had for a while....well, actually I just replaced them with the newer version and the 700s RF amp for the subs I've had for like a year.
I got a great deal on the Alpine cd9813 open box special.

yo gato ..........i like the radio ....and improbably going to run into the same problem when i change my factory unit .....the big ole space it leaves when u change the stock system .......i was thinking about putting thing the lexus emblems underneath the new radio unit ..just not to see all that empty space ......what do you think

im looking at putting a set of temp/volt guages for my amp under mine. I know ive seen them in a cateloge somewhere. Blue with either analoge needles or digital readout. but after all the work on that area lately I think im going to leave it alone for a while.

Gato, so did i see it right? did you replace the 6X9 rear with 6" coaxials?

yes, you can run your mids and highs off the head unit...... but I wanted to finally finalize a complete system and make it perfect...

on that picture above .....it's called a fischer box...made for german cars (cd holder it's all it is)


all you ideas are nice....equalizer, stash box....3rdelement's idea is cool too...a nice temp/volt gauges..

I'm also thinking of replacing the ash tray with a black vinyl cover and place something neat in the middle...only because the ash tray is broken and keeps poping out.

well home theaters always have that center speaker ...so maybe a small center speaker wouldnt be bad..............or maybe a radar detector .....

maybe im mistaken but my car(i thought) 96 es, has 6x9's in the back for rear.
