Wait...while we're on the subject of shocks and struts, do the struts from a 99 solara fit the 1999 ES300 chassis? If so I can grab a set of those if they're the same ones and save some $

Yes they're the exact same chassis MCV20. FYI, the Solara V6 lowering springs drop lower than most Camry/ES setups by about 0.2" or more.

intrax listed the solara as 1.9 up front and 2.9 rear? If it was 1.9 all around I wish I would have gotten that intead of the 1.6.

would you notice that much difference with .3 up front? I would probably just put the front 1.9 springs and keep the back 1.6 to make it look more even.

Cool! I'll just get these then. So are you guys saying that OEM Solara springs are 1.9 all around or are the aftermarket ones like 1.9 all around? If they come that way, can I use the 1.9 OEM ones and get some 1.6 aftermarket ones for the back?

intrax solara lowering springs are 1.9 all around(i think the had a typo on the website cause it said 2.9 in back which is unheardoff for any lowering spring) and intrax es/camary are 1.6" drop front and rear. Problem is with the es the front fender is alot higher than the back so in order for the car to look right; drop should be lower in the front. so you could buy both sets of springs to get that look 1.9 up front and 1.6 in back. In comparison to other springs for es tein has a 1.7 front and 1.4 rear drop. tanabe has a 1.8 front and a 1 rear, h&r is 1.2 front and rear(i think that is right) and eibach(however it spelled) is around 1 inch(don't remeber exactly) all around.

Which would give the best ride(stock comfort level) and the most stability using the SC430 18" wheels and Dunlop DSP 5000 tires?
