Hey, I own a 1995 es300, and is there anyway to hook up an aftermarket sub and amp into my es300 stock soundsystem?

YES, and it will sound pretty decent. you can run just the subs and an amp and keep the factory mids and highs since they have factory amps....

There is some type of aparatus out there that you will need...I think it's called factory link or something like that..

I just switched out the oem stck radio for an alpine and lost the sound quality of the mids...so I'm gonna run seperate mids off a diffrent amp.

good luck

You dont have to replace the stock head unit. You can run a stepdown off the rear 6x9's. The stepdown converts the audio already on the speaker wire back to a useable RCA connection. Take the RCA connection and jack it into the amp. Wire up your hot and ground wire to the amp. You can find a "switched" hot in the fusebox as a suitable replacement for the remote wire (blue).

if you run a stepdown to the amp would you need a remote wire anywhere?

Stay with me now. Find a "switched" hot wire in the fusebox as a suitable replacement for the remote wire.
