If you look on the large rubber intake hose, there is a smaller hose that comes out the back of it. That feeds air to the IAC.

2nd again, my friend's bmw did this after we swapped engines. it would rev to 3500 then to 0, as long as he wasnt on the gas

turned out his idle control valve was bad, replaced that and there was no problems

Well first off inspect the hose you have there for cracks and splits, then buy some braided pvc and you can make your own if you need it!

if you're talking about the hose in the picture that i circle.. i checked, no broken or crack hose.. yeh i kinda understand where those hose are from.. i think i can go to lowes and get a few hundred feets ... but the thing is.. where is the IAC located in that picture or is that whole metal pieace i circle is the IAC.... if so. see there's a pieace of metal, i think it's a gasket for that. if i am to take it off for cleaning. do i have to get a whole new gasket??..

You circled two metal pieces in the picture. The one nearest to you is the TPS sensor.
The one behind that (where the hose CONNECTS TO) is the IAC.
