Lightbulb es300 for sc400/soarer, worth it?

my es is a 95 with just over 190,000km (almost 120,000miles).

im getting tired of the slowness/slowness in low revs. doesnt get the ooomph until amost 4k RPM.

has about 7 month left with warranty on engine and transmission.

just wondering if its worth it selling it and getting a twin turbo or v8 sc400/soarer (pretty much the same thign)

and is it just me or is my car crappier than others, interms of power(not uber fast until 4k RPM etc).

oh and i get about 18mpg (i think, well, 350km for 45 litres of premium fuel) in city driving.

soz about my extremely unorderly post

If you still want to keep your ES, I would first identify the problem with the lack of acceleration and power. It could be a number of different things, such as fuel injectors needing to be cleaned, change spark plugs, replace idle air control valve, clean the throttle body, etc. When was the last time your car had a tune-up? Your extended warranty which covers the engine and transmission should come in handy while you still have it, so make the most use of it.

Thats another reason I got my 99! Everything's so much better and the vvt-i takes care of the acceleration no problem. The difference was night and day between both cars

Then you're not going to like an SC... They're not much faster at all. I hope you're not kiddding about slapping a turbo on it.

If you're looking for a whole lot more torque/bhp and the control of rwd then go for the 2.5 TT soarer. You can do wonders with this engine and it's pretty luxurious too.
