Other than that, those are excellent pics of your ES. Looks like you've put in a ton of work on her

Yeah, the shifter is pretty bad, but the replacement one is like ~300.
Do you know where i can get it re-wrapped?

This place can do steering wheels and gear shifters of almost any car. Check out the site and inquire if the shifter from your car can be done.

Status: I got the car with 30,000 miles on it. I've replaced the tires once (Bridgestone Turanza. I love them!), the windshield once, stock battery (replaced with Die Hard Gold), brakes all around once(Brembo Rotors and stock pads) and a sending unit to turn off the traction control light. Other than that it has been gas, synthetic oil and wax. I'm replacing the front struts this weekend with KYB inserts and bearings but using the stock springs. (I got all the tools and knowhow to do this myself....it helps when you have a furnace in the garage also ) Next thing I plan to do is go to Lowe's and get a hepa filter to replace the existing cabin filter I bought from the dealer and installed 1 year ago. I love this forum for great ideas!!!

I figure it's time for an update (a lot has changed for the past several months)
Name: Doug
ES year: 2001 Black Onyx
Mileage: 118,800
Status: New set of Bridgestone Turanza LS-H tires, installed in June '05. One of the tires ended up with a nail around last month, so I got that replaced with a Bridgestone Potenza (no Turanza LS-H in stock at Midas) Brake fluid bled, flushed and re-filled in Dec. '05 (no more annoying intermittent BRAKE light). Got new rear OEM struts installed and alignment done also in Dec. '05. As you can see, maintenance is very key to me
Future plans: OEM HID headlamps have been sitting in my room for the last 2 months. Just recently scored a deal on a set of Lexus IS300 bulbs and ballasts from Ebay, so as soon as they arrive, they and the headlamps will go on the car. This is a mod I've been waiting for a LONG time, and now it's almost here
