Arrow Status of your ES

I've noticed we have a healthy amount of veterans and newcomers in this forum, so I thought it'd be a good idea to start a thread up in order to know more about where we stand with our ES. State your name (first or initials is OK), your ES year, mileage, your current status (i.e. maintenance work, installs, mods), and if any, your upcoming plans with the car for the spring and summer.

Here we go...

Name: Doug

ES year: 2001 Black Onyx

Mileage: 105,000

Status: Just got the car back from the body shop after last month's accident (not my fault). Front bumper, fender, headlight, fog light, wheel and suspension components have all been replaced, and the hood was refinished and repainted. The front of my ES looks brand spanking new, and I may soon think about having Xpel installed for the hood and bumper. My 5K oil change is due very soon, and I plan to change it myself with 10W-30 Mobil-1 full synthetic and Toyota OEM filter. Have done it the last 2 times, and all yielded no problems.

Future plans: I like the idea of stiffening up my suspension a little bit, so a strut bar installment could be in the works, such as from the OEM Solara. Will have to do some more research.

Name: Domenic

ES year: 2000 Black Onyx

Mileage: 82,000

Status: Just had drilled/slotted Brembo Rotors along with ceramic brake pads, painted calipers flat black and new set of Bridgestone Potenza tires put on. Keeping my stock chrome 16" for now. Looking to upgrade my sub to a JL 12w6v2.
Future plans: If the roads were better here in MA I would love to drop it on some 1/5 19's or 18's. But for now I just spend most of my time detailing.
P.S. Awesome thread Doug!

Name: Chris

ES year: 2001 Milennium Silver Metallic / Sage

Mileage: 49,000

Status: About to get an Oil Change at 51,000. Brakes need work as they vibrate, but otherwise the car is solid and smooth. Wrecked it in December after a deer ran into the side of it (Yes, it hit me, i didn't hit it), front bumper cover, front pass fender, front pass headlight, front pass corner light, pass front door. Only mod so far is I relocated the "ES300" to the trunk lid instead of on the tail light.

Future plans: HID's, navigation, and try to figure out a way to get the iPod to play in there without putting a whole new stereo system in it, window tints (but i'm skeptical).

Edit: Another future plan: 06 IS350

ES year: 1992 White

Mileage: 213,000

Status: Car still runs great, starts on first crank, rides comfy and the interior looks like new. Airbag light is on, 13 years of sun/winter has some stitches in the rear splitting but paint has held up incredibly well. I avg 25 MPG, not bad for an old car.

Future plans: I don't see myself ever getting rid of her, 17" wheels, suspension work and some cosmetic touches.

Name: Tracy

ES year: 1996 Classic Green Pearl

Mileage: 228,000

Status: Just got the car back from the dealer who performed a power steering flush. I also had a motor flush, radiator flush and transmission flush. My next step is to have a brake flush, change the motor mounts and check to see if I need new shocks and or struts. My car just goes and goes. The only problems I have are; sometime the driver side window gets stuck. I'll be able to put the down the window but at times when I try to bring it back up nothing happens. I usually have to wait a few minutes before I can bring the window back up. The light where the time, temperature and A/C controls are burnt out. In the day time it's fine just at night I can't see the time, temperature and A/C controls. Lastly my antenna is stuck, it's from the wind. I'll be replacing that too.

Future plans: I like would like to increase horsepower/performance. I can only do so much but any amount of power increase will work for me.
