Default question about lowering my car

I just dropped off my car to install ksport coilovers and i wanted to lower 2'' or more. It looks like that won't be possible because my wheels are pretty wide and if i lower it, the fender (body) is going to touch the wheel.. I just checked out some of the cars lowered on this forum and looks like the wheels go inside the fender... Does anyone have any ideas on how i can go about lowering the car without getting new wheels..?

wheel specs:
19x8.5 / 35 offset
235/35-19 Tires

35 offset is your problem, if you want to go lower w/o wheels touching the fender.... you have to roll your fender or cut the inner fender

I have 19's with a 40 offset and a intrax drop of 1.6 inches with no problem and I should have my ksports coilovers mid next week. I know the front won;t have any problems but the back will need a little fender rolling or cutting. Your offset is too big, 40 is the biggest I have ever seen that worked on a es.

im a little confused here.. when you say roll or cut fender, do you mean the plastic piece inside the fender or the body/metal?

in the back, you need to cut the black plastic inside the fender or use a fender roller to give you clearance in the back. this allows you to lower your car more without rubbin on that plastic. dropndrag said he cut the plastic in the back on his es and he has the same 19;s as me and his is lowered 2 inches in the back.

man, it looks like im going to need to cut the body(metal) to lower it with these wheels.. anyone know if any body shop would be able to do this and/or have rough estimate on how much something like would cost me?.

my wheel shop said they would roll the fenders for free for me. Ide just ask.....you never know what you might end up getting for little to no cost.
