Anyone ever install an aftermarket intake? It came in two pieces: The pipe and the filter. Which is now one piece. It also came with some kind of bracket and in the opposite end of the pipe there is a gasket or cuff that comes out from the pipe. I saw one in the gallery. I am going to give it a shot, but I don't know if I need anything else, tubes and whatnot. Any help or diagrams would be appreciated. Ramsee1

Oh, it's a 96 ES. And for those of you who are curious, the strut bar hasn't come in yet. The guy's being a real j.o. about sending it.

Ramsee, where did you order your strut bar and intake from, i ordered some from autotoys.com, but they stil havent' sent them out because they said that Ractive has discontinued these prudcts but taht they would still fill mine, it has almost been 2 weeks now, and i have also already been charged for them

Hey Andy. I got the strutbar from Canadianautoextras.com So far I wouldn't recommend them though. The bar was for a 92-00 camry, but he said he contacted Ractive and it would fit my 96ES. It's been three weeks and the guy is giving me the runaround. The intake which is also Ractive I got from Autotoys. It took three weeks to get here and their shop is a half hour from me. They go under the name Sound Conceptions here in New Jersey. I don't know anything about the part being discontinued. What year is your ES? Hepe this helps and let me know how your installation goes. Did you get the full cool air intake? How much did it cost? I have been looking for one for a 93 Es without much success. Too bad about the runaround. Be sure to post pictures when you get it all installed.

What's up. It doesn't run to the bumper or anything. Look in the ES gallery, it is similar to the one in there.
