I am puttin an aftermarket deck in this week and the "amp" in the deck is 52 x 4 which puts out about 22rms per speaker.

I was wondering how this will coincide with the pioneer amp that is under my seat. I have a 1995 es300 and I am not sure if that amp powers the door speakers and if it will be disabled after i install the new deck.


I was also wondering what that amp is putting out for power and if it will not be as loud after this deck is installed.

Please let me know before I do the install tomorrow

you could always go the route of making sure your cd deck has preamp outs for front rear and sub. and just buy the adapter utilizing the stock amp

I am pretty sure I am going to bypass, I was jsut wondering how much power i was getting out of that amp

isnt it 12-15watts x4?
Keep in mind it doesnt need as much power because the resistance is less on the stock speakers when compaired to aftermarket

right now im pushing 50x4 and experiencing very good performance.
