The cheap ones from Tirerack. I forgot the brand, but they aren't so bad.

I have Brembo oem replacement rotors up front, the stock ones are still in the rear.

F/R pads- PBR
F/R Disc- Bermbo blank

this pad create so many dust, but the stopping power is great specially at highway speed.

Hmmm...I have brembo rotors all around and have been experimenting with pads. I've tried the premium ones from Parts Source and Napa...decent but high dust and occasionally squeal. I haven't tried any ceramic blend yet.

In the end I keep going back to Toyota OEM pads...they're a definite quality product and I think I'll stick to them. No complaints at all. I strongly recommend you stick with the OEMs if you can.

Very quiet and negligible brake dust.

Bendix ceramic pads no dust at all, none! For rotors I have Brembo drilled/slotted a bit noisy but stopping power is unbelievable.

Cool

Brembo blank replacement rotors. Hawk HPS + (Now Hawk HPS Track) up front. ProACT pads on the rear (Brand name for dealer). Dot 5.1 brake fluid.

Nothing works better. Best track pads you'll find once they warm up, with no more dusting than stock pads, and extremely smooth when they're cold.

Doesnt the ceramics wear out your rotors faster??

There is always a tradeoff:

harder pads= longer life, lower amount of brake dust, but less braking efficiency.

softer pads= shorter life, higher amount of brake dust, higher braking efficiency.

OEM brake pads give you the best balance.

So I guess the best bet is to go with the factory brake pads. Anyone know how much they run??

I use the original pads. I've tried Bosch and Bendix before but Bosch was making all sorts of metal grinding noises so i ended up returning it next day. Bendix was OK but OEM was the best. I'm still using my original rotors and my car has 110k miles. Recently my brakes started making, harsh, short metal grinding noise right before car comes to a complete stop. Maybe its time for me to change rotors????

I just ordered a set of OEM pads (front) for my wife's 94 ES 300 last week. I ordered them from www.newlexusparts.com, which is Park Place Lexus in Plano, Texas. The cost was $48.81, and they paid shipping.

The same pads at www.lexusparts.com cost $58.81. I don't know if shipping is included or not.

I also have ordered a set of slotted rotors (front also) for the car. These cost $157.46 plus shipping from www.raceshopper.com. The OEM rotors are priced at $76.00 each at Park Place Lexus.

I had excellent service for a number of years with slotted rotors on my 96 Toyota 4-Runner. They did not seem to wear out the pads any quicker than non-slotted rotors (as some folks have opined), and they solved a problem of brake fade that I was experiencing during mountain driving. They also never needed resurfacing to eliminate steering wheel shake when stopping.
