Hi ES300 fans - my name is Adrian and I'm new to this forum! I have a '92 ES300 that is Australian spec (clear lenses etc) with personalised ES300 plates!
Anyway, I saw a thread hunting for details of the new ES300. It is my understanding that the new ES300 will remain a Toyota Windom, and not a Chaser as mentioned earlier in threads. Below is a pic of the new Toyota Windom - not bad looking but would have to see the whole car to judge.
:-)

Yes, that's it!
Yes, that's the pic - thanks! Not sure why the picture didn't post originally, it was initially displaying on my screen....
This is the only picture I've seen of the upcoming Toyota Windom - the legit Japanese Toyota site still has the current Windom/ES300. This picture is from the 'Scoop' site which has lots of scoop pics of upcoming Japanese cars - http://www.geocities.com/busybeetoys/ The webmaster isn't a fan of Toyotas it would seem but he posts the new pics when he can. That may be why it looks photoshopped as it would have been scanned from a mag.

Got hand it to Lexus/Toyota they done an outstanding job keeping the new design and specs under wrap. The car is supposely only a 3-4 months away and still real details or photos. Talk to Lexus salesman today and he knew even less about it than I.

Adrian, I tried posting it too!
when i tried posting it, that didn't work...so i saved the file on my computer and posted it as an attachment
i do like the front end, very classy IMO. if this is the true front end, it is really a big improvement that revitalizes the really 'aggressive' front stance of the original ES300 (92-96). the current ES300 looks like a camry from the front IMO

More pics of new ES300
argggh, tried posting this separately but timed out...
anyway, yet more pics from a japanese mag - this is an official website, that has final production sketches of the new ES300/windom which looks quite similar but makes me wonder if the other pic was a press 'photoshop' job.
Front end:
Rear:
more details:
http://mag-x.com/scoop/windom0106/index.html
also interesting to note their undercover pics of the new camry - quite good looking although again borrowing heavily from Mercedes. The rear tail-lights look like a recent Korean car from memory.

I agree
I agree with you L Sport. The current version of the ES 300 love. This new design came out in 1997, but to me still looks very sporty/classy. The new pics of the Windom look pretty good, but i wish they could keep the block tail lights and frameless windows. I espically like how the end of the Es 300 is molded just right, so there is no need for a spoiler. Reminds me how clean BMW backs look.

Ok, more photos!
Ok, yet more pics, again from the Japanese Scoop page:
http://www.geocities.com/busybeetoys/
front pic:
rear pic:
Hmm, looks interesting - those headlights (still a retouched photo) look awfully long. The head of Toyota/Lexus Australia was interviewed some time ago after seeing a production model and said he was extremely excited about the new ES300 and it's new look. Should stand out a bit more, at least from the front.

The preview pics/drawings posted by Adrian ES300, to me, seem to depict "Toyota Brevis" (front) and "Toyota Carina" (rear) I saw during my recent visit to Japan. I am not saying that the pics don't represent the new Windom--but I'd highly doubt Toyota would design such an important model, Windom, looking so much like a combination of two lower-end models.
