I own a 93 ES 300 with 106,000 on it and I have this weird problem. Sometimes the LCD on the AC Panel freaks out and displays all this jibberish. When you push in on the panel or hit the dash the jibberish goes away for a few minutes or a couple of days. Now IM pretty sure its just a loose wire back there somewhere but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is an easy fix for it? Also....how would I get behind the panel to fix the wire? Thankx Fellas

in the previous post, someone posted how to take the Head unit and the AC panel out.
I simply just tell you how it could be done
1. take the AC vent off, yup just pry it off using screw driver.
2. unscrew the screws, 2 of them
3. pry the piece of bar off between the HU and the Ash Tray.
4. unscrew the screws , 2 of them that holding the HU.
5. you can slide the AC unit, Head unit off as a same piece.
6. find the lose wire, solder it or change it if necessarirly.
good enought? did i miss anything?
oh, you do this on your own risk!, I just provide what I have done. please don't look for me on the street if you busted your car!!! lol
seriously, if you don't know it, don't do it urself!
