Well, (sigh) as you guy know, June 23, 2005, I was lucky enought to get my hands on a mint condition 1993 ES300, from a sweet old lady. While celebrating the Fourth of July at my girlfriend's mother's house, a drunk driver plowed into the rear of my car parked in the yard. Had my car not have been parked there,due to the fact that l got ther late, he would of ran into the house causing A LOT more damage with his RED NECK ASTRO VAN, THAT I THINK DOUBLED AS HIS HOUSE. I see it as bitter sweet. The car is currently in the body shop due to the fact that I will not get rid of it. He is going to pay me back for the damage, and due to the fact that this was his 5th D.U.I. when he gets out we are going to have a "talk" about my car. I am still taking this week off from work cause of the accident. I own my own business, so it will be a chance to rest.............I need a drink.

Sorry to hear this latest incident happened during your holiday break, but lucky that no one was sitting in the car at that time. The same thing happened to my co-worker's Passat a while ago. She was having dinner at a friend's house, located on a cul de sac, when all of a sudden, a drunk truck driver nailed her car and drove away. Now she has a new Passat thanks to that accident that totaled her old one. Be careful of these stupid drunk drivers out there

holy crap.. i hope you're probably messing around when you said "his 5th DUI".. if you're waitting for him to get out and pay you.. that'll be around 3 to 4 years.. or maybe your state law is a little different... i know someone who got his 5th DUI and he was locked up for 5 years in NY ,, dud i really hope you got a police report and have his insurance pay for your ride.
