Default Rimmed Up!!

finally....I have been waiting for this day since I got busted for trying to smuggle the damn things into Canada way back in January!!! Was it worth the wait? I guess so....looks okay to me, and is exactly what I wanted...something plain and simple. Wheels of course are the L-Sportline Model IV, 18 x 7.5...went with the Toyo Proxes 4's (225 - 40 - 18) for the rubber, and my first impression: holy **** do these things ever stick compared to my puny little stocks! I can't deny it, the car needs a drop, but until I can A.) make some $$, and B.) figure out if I will even be able to drop it thanks to my ever so rare AVS option, I'll have to make due with what I have....although I'm not gonna lie, I am smiling from ear to ear right now. I've also got a pic of my sub box for anyone interested...for me, the passage from the trunk to the cabin was crucial, so the box was obviously designed with that in mind. enjoy.

Took this one as soon as I got home from the shop.....damn was I happy!

Amazing how much better these things make my freshly painted calipers look...

And finally, my subs....Polk MM2104's, powered by a JL 500/1 amp....

i always thought those wheels would look clean on an es300

edit: the lip on the wheel looks a bit dull.. you should get it high polished..

and if you want the bling factor, you could get the whole wheel polished

lol! your cost will be less unless you try and do the "import" thing that he got caught doing. I think the wheels do look great! and calipers were a nice touch. Oh! and isnt it nice to run on good rubber? i was extremely happy i went with pirelli's. There was a massive difference in the feel of the car just from that upgrade alone. And i love the look i get when i pull up in an es with wheels that are different than stock.

love the color too

Looks good to me without a drop. The ES and LS are the 2 Lexus cars that can go without a drop since they are luxury cars mainly. They don't try to be sporty. We add sportiness but you can dial in as much or not as much sport as you want. I wouldn't lower it. Looks good as is imo.

Looks good, can't really go wrong with 5 spokes on an ES.
