CLEAR CORNERS: pics and helpful hits inside!

LOL! thanks for all the great posts about modifying the headlights to make clear corners possible. It took some time. but i got it finished. If i can find a working camera i'll snap some pics. Im really impressed though how they are still orange when lit....but clear when off. nice look. very classy. not as ricey as i thought it was going to be.

Make sure you get the silver foiled bulbs. It's ricy, or ghetto (take your pic) to have pretty matching clear headlights, but then a nasty orange / black blob in it!

colorado state law specifically outlines the color of "illumination and location" on your car
the front is only allowed white for main illumination(headlamps)
HID only if factory installed(they dont want you blinding people)
amber to orange for hazard and turn signal(parking lights included)
for the rear
you are allowed amber and orange for brake and turn signal
you are allowed white for backup indicators
and you are allowed only white incondescent(sp?) for license plate illumination

yup! starts with tint.....then audio....then bulbs go out so you retrofit LED.....then time for new tires and you upgrade to pirelli on 18's....then headlight goes out and you put silverstars....then you notice.....hey i have a free weekend, lets try that clear corner thing....next will be suspension....then turbo.....then i realize i could have just bought the gs i want. lol!
