Default Finally Pictures of my Car

Well, in 2003 I had the IS300 Rims installed along with the lowering springs (1.8 inch). Then I went to the carribbean (St. Maarten Dutch West Indies) for med school, and exported my car out of the states. Upon arrival and analyzing the sad plight of the roads here I decided to install the stock spring back in the rear only so as to maintain a similar wheel gap between the front and the back. While I was down here I decided that I was going to bring the car back to the states and hence I decided that I should pour some more money in the car. So I ordered the two tone leather interior and then went for a custom fabricated "unknown body kit". The cost of the leather was around $800 and that for the body kit was $450 painted and installed.

Enjoy the pics

Cheers

that looks really good. the lip kit, skirts and rear aero looks very good- subtle, but classy- it definitly enhances the look of the car with out overpowering the cars initial design. One thing you may want to consider if you wish to keep the IS300 rims is a set of spacers to push the wheel/tire out closer to the fender- you would be amazed the difference that flush fitting wheels can make on a car. A car with a flush set of wheels appears to sit lower and wider, which really is a good look on ES3's heres a quick (and somewhat rough photoshop of what spacers would do for the look of your car.

Your picture with out spacers

See the difference?

(ohh- and btw we keep our boat in Ans Marcel- up on the northside (french side) of the island, we like to base out of there because its a beautiful island, good flights in, and we LOVE st. barths!-

By the way- you really ought to show some of the St. Marten folks how to modify a car with some class- I swear that there are some cars down there that make me just shake my head and wonder what the hell was he/she thinking...?

Ohh, and could you send a 6 pack of Carib my way- NOBODY gets it here in my part of the country... -thanks!)

Thanks for the complements guys.

The guy who made the body kit tried to convince me to go with something crazy but at the end thank god he made it the way I wanted it. I am considering putting in bigger tips on the exhaust while keeping the stock muffler, so as to fill in the gap, without increasing the sound.

Rob, I was indeed considering wheel spacers, and when I go back home in a month I am gonna pick up a set. I have recieved comments from several guys on the island as to why my rims are recessed inwards especially the back ones and the bodykit warrants the use of spacers even more so now than before.

Cheers

Default wheel spacers

I was under the impression that the wheel spacers are pretty much a unviersal thing and the lug pattern determines what kind you get.
