The Rotora's like I bought have a coating that protects it from rust. You can read about it here

Cool

Drilled rotors are a joke. They have the lowest friction, lowest strength, lowest capacity to store & transfer heat...
Don't buy slotted rotors, you don't race on a road racing circuit. Your brake pads are not going to melt, so you don't need them to be scraped a thousand times a second.

Stick with Brembo blank rotors, Hawk HPS pads, & flush the fluid to dot4.

All brake rotor's rust... They're ferrite.
If it worries you that much, go buy some high-temp paint and paint them. The brake pad will clean off any paint in it's way instantly & anything left will be incenerated the first time you hit the brakes.

I used aluminum duplicolor high-temp paint two years ago, still looks pretty good.

Phoenix I know you know your stuff so I'm not going to argue with you, but I have drilled/slotted Brembo's on my ES. They're not drilled all the way through but dimpled and I have no complaints what so ever. Coupled with Bendix ceramic brake pads I feel very comfortable driving in any weather conditions. i stop just as good if not better than when I had OEM rotors and pads. You are correct that all rotors will rust at some point no matter what the manufacturer says. So far the hub hasn't rusted and when the face becomes rusty in heavy rains it is wiped clean by the pads at the first red light.
