engine mount observations
OK I was planning to do the front engine mount today and decided to do a final observation.
1. the dogbone is cracked but not too bad. Iget my wife to pull over D R and Neutral while I was observing.
a. the engine moved very little when in R
b. the engine moved up and backward when in D about 1 inch
under both cases the engine never hit my strut bar
I think the rear mount is OK but is the front mount OK I have seen no crack or leak?
You think I can get away by only changing the dogbone ?
appreciate any input fast
BTW
I read the instructions to remove the mount in my last post
I am curious if removing only the three bolts can change the mount or I still need to remove the center bolt?
