lol dealerships are pretty funny. clock doesn't work anymore? ehh sounds like you need a new transmission. power windows dont work anymore? that sounds like you need a tune up and new water pump.

this is true. I do my research then visit my local dealership just to see what they come up with. I told them the light behind the temp control **** went out......their reply: "Ah yes i see, that part is usually $650 because that whole unit has to be replaced. "

lol Granted i got screwed on the price but 2 $11.00 bulbs solved the problem. Too Funny.

I got a 2002 ES so maybe the fuse involved is the same.

Fuse 36, ECU-ACC, 5 AMP covers power rear view mirrors, clock, multi-information display and driving position memory system. Fuse 34 is in the fuse panel behind the coin tray, top row, second from left. Fuse 24 is a spare 5 AMP fuse (engine compartment)

There are several other fuses that the clock is involved in, but this is the only one that lists both
mirrors and clock.

If the 98 ES is not similar, then just look for the blown fuse, but I would start with the fuse set behind the coin tray/drawer.

Ok Ok i got it!

It was a fuse behind the coin tray.In the manual it just says its for the clock but it controls the mirrors too.
