What Kind of Milage Do You get?
I use http://www.gasbuddy.com/ to monitor my milage and to find the lowest prices for fuel. After this past holiday weekend (Labor Day), I found that, for our camping trip of three adults and all the tent and beach gear to go along with it, I pulled over 25 MPG out of my '95 ES300 which has over 200,000 miles.
What MPG does everyone else get?

That's what A/C is for.
I've got the compressor running most of the time, even when I set the thermostat to around 75 and even higher. The wind and noise (from having the side windows open on an ES300) is more of a nuisance than it is in my '74 Mercury Cougar XR-7 or the 1985 F-150 4x4 that I use in the hills. This keeps me from driving the Interstates with the window down, but I do use the moon roof.
I'm also in the habit of keeping the air on recirculate to keep out the highway fumes and country fertilizer smells. When the ES300 is closed up like this, it doesn't take long before it gets stuffy and the windshield begins to fog over. Therefore, the A/C helps to keep things comfortable.

if you ever see someone riding with an es300 windows down there are 2 reasons:
1.) he wants to show off the audio system he just had installed
2.) his ac is broken
any other reason is just nonsense. If you are worried that much about the 20 cents you save from the difference DONT BUY A LEXUS. lol

I used to get an avg of 23-25 MPG up in Connecticut. This is combined city/highway. However, after I moved down here to Florida, I've been getting around 18-20 MPG. Too many stop-and-go driving at 35 mph city roads, and continuous A/C use due to the weather. The high gas prices don't really help much in this situation either
