Smile 221k miles, a couple things are getting fixed

Well I guess I pushed the old lady as hard as I could. I drove her from Atlanta to Baltimore for LEXFEST and she performed great. I did wear out a pad and as some know, Dave and his girlfriend Krista helped repair one front pad so I could return home.

Then the day after I came back, the car suddenly got loud when I accelerated. The exhaust needed replacing. I took it to my FAVORITE dealer, Hennessy Lexus of Gwinnett, where VVTi and company fixed it to perfection and gave us a RX 330 to drive for the week.

The car was purring, until 2 days later, I have no clutch feel. Damn, the clutch went. I am taking it back tomorrow to get that fixed.

221k miles, so I cannot complain, it is my third clutch. I need to fix a couple of other things and with the new job, I just might do that.

I am very proud of the fact, the car made it to Baltimore for Lexfest.

This car will never be sold. It will be 10 years with me next year. I plan on doing a couple things and keeping it around. Its just a great car still.

Awsome 1sic!
Buy an ACT clutch like sean. If they can last a few years throh all his N/A, n2o, and turbo adventures, they'll probably last forever for you!

Good job keeping the ES going Mike. I can vouch for the reliability of the car since I also drove my ES from Connecticut to Florida last month (~1200 miles one way). This is definitely a car that'll never quit

have you had to change all the motor mounts? my 95 has had 3 dogbones now, but there are other wounded mounts aswell. It's only noticable if you rag it.

Cool

If you've been through 3 dog bone mounts, you probably should have replaced the front motor mount, rear motor mount, and front transmission mount too.
On the second dogbone, the front mount should have been replaced.

I know the other weak mounts are contributing to the dog bone, but dogbone=$25/DIY
other mounts =$$$. the ES is my beater, so you get the picture
