restricted exhaust? help

restricted exhaust? help
when I put my hand at the end of the exhaust pipe as the car idles , I have found the exhaust air coming out of the pipe is very weak and there is no pulsing?
I took the converter down and I can still see through it but obviously it is sooted with carbon. Could the muffler gone bad or restricted? or the weak exhaust output is normal??????

It's idling... There's 10cfm entering the engine, and maybe 7cfm coming out of it.
Don't worry about it, not much is going to come out.
